As a former homeowner myself, you can have every confidence that I will treat your home as well as I treated my own. I am fastidious when it comes to cleaning and clutter! I also know how to take care of basic household tasks. I had my own veggie and flower gardens and did most of the yard work myself. I like to have fun in life, but I am very serious when it comes to the care of your animals and property, so I appreciate clear communication and will follow your directives and requests fully. As a former teacher, I follow instructions! I want to make you feel as comfortable as possible so that you can enjoy your travels worry-free!

Personally, I was located on Long Island, NY for 26 years, but in 2023 I embarked on a new adventure. I sold my house, ordered a new cargo van and did a very basic conversion. I explored parts of the U.S. by driving from pet sit to pet sit and camping in between sits! After more than 1.5 years of that nomadic lifestyle, I have now decided to stay put in Fort Collins. I am vaccinated and double-boosted. I live a quiet, calm life and you can expect the same when I am in your home. I love to read, listen to music, take walks, enjoy nature, visit new places and meet new people - and cuddle with furry friends!

I can’t say enough good things about Laura. She and our dog Katie took to each other right away, and we knew she would be a loving companion for Katie while we were in Botswana for two weeks. She kept us updated regularly and attended to matters such as UPS deliveries our lawn care service. She also watered our large vegetable and flower garden as needed and we returned to a thriving garden. We found our house in perfect order when we returned. We will happily use her again when possible

Laura was a wonderful house sitter! Our house and garden were well cared for, and most of all, our pets. She sent photos and videos showing some very happy animals. Even our very shy cat who doesn't like any strangers warmed up to Laura. Our rescue dog and two cats loved her gentle nature and all the attention lavished on them. She explored the area with our dog, taking him for walks at local nature preserves and sending photos. It was such a relief to be traveling far from ... MoreLaura was a wonderful house sitter! Laura sat for my family for 2 weeks, and took care of our dogs, cats, chickens and multiple gardens. She was super communicative and even came a day before we left so she could meet all the animals while we were still home. While we were away she made sure we were updated with how everyone was feeling, and when we came back home we found all our pets happy and content and the gardens in great shape despite the heat during our trip. Laura was friendly, responsible, and very caring with my 3 cats while I was on vacation. She managed my cat's medication without trouble and cared for my pine pellet litter boxes without difficulty. For those unfamiliar with this litter it is easy in one sense, but the maintenance to keep clean can seem complicated if you are not familiar with it. She handled it just fine. Laura spent qualitiy time playing & snuggling with my cats, and she left the kitchen, bowls, recycables, etc. ...
