I had been living in Hawaii the last decade and have been connecting with nature. I'm originally from NYC so already have experience with concrete jungles too. I'm on a "gap year", attempting to find a 100% remote role, and would like to experience how others live across the world.

Throughout several years in HI I was housesitting/performed a variety of pet care (also hiked for fun with dogs). In New York I used to help others declutter their homes or provide childcare at their residence. Overall I've done a bunch of volunteer work on farms, beach cleanups, for the houseless community, as well as have worked as a bartender and in athletic retail sales. I have an extensive career history that includes account manager/business development for a non-profit and recruiting new hires for a financial firm.

My goals are to create my own business one day, I love to walk, try new restaurants, and enjoy bucketlist travel. I've navigated road trips and international destinations on my own which teaches you a lot about yourself, and I also enjoy the laughs and memories seeing new places with friends (and animals).

Melissa was a great sitter. She was lovely to get to know and made us feel comfortable leaving our home and cat under her care. She took us to airport at the most terrible hours of the morning and collected us very late at night which we truly appreciated. She took great care of Lilly who cuddled up to her in no time and sent us pictures from time to time. A very smooth sit. We would recommend her to anyone with no hesitation.. Thank you Melissa.
Melissa took copious notes prior to us leaving and our dog seemed content and healthy when we returned from our 2-1/2 week long trip. Our home was in good order and our plants watered. Because she provided proof of auto insurance, we entrusted her in driving 2-of our new cars which were in good condition when we returned. At our request, she sent daily videos of our pet, which helped me feel less guilty for being away so long, especially knowing he was well cared for. We would hire Melissa ... Melissa was great! She sent fun updates about my dog at the frequency I asked for and I came home to a really clean apartment. Ashbury really liked cuddling with her!

Melissa was an absolute godsend. I had to leave my cats for almost an entire month for a work trip and I was really worried how they would do. Melissa took really good care of my space, sent me frequent photos and updates on the cats, and was just generally amazing to work with. When I got home, I could tell from my cats' moods that they had been very well cared for!
