I don’t necessarily need to make any money, I just don’t wanna lose money on flight/car rental (fly), gas/accommodations (drive), or something else (bus, train, etc.). That’s just what I charge locally and I had to put something. I’m based in Indiana to give you an idea.

favoriteWhy we love house sitting

I absolutely love meeting, spending time with, and getting to know, all the different animals, especially the dogs! That is by far the best part for me. Staying in different houses, seeing things that I’ve never seen before, and going to places I’ve never been, is definitely an added bonus though.

I signed up for this because I’m really wanting to travel more. I am happy to book anything at least a week in advance if I happen to be available but I’m usually pretty booked 2-3 months out.

I’ve owned dogs and other smaller animals my entire life. My entire life revolves around the pets that I’m around. I do more than just house sitting, I also do drop-ins, walks, photography, training, and basic grooming in my day to day life.

I’ve owned a Siberian Husky, 2 Golden Retrievers, a GSD, a GSD/APBT, and an ACD/Siberian Husky/BC mix, throughout my life, I’ve also helped raise a litter of 6 puppies, I’ve owned 13 cats, most growing up were outdoor, but I have had a few indoor as well. I’ve also owned countless fish, a few amphibians, about a handful of rabbits, a hamster, and a gerbil.

I currently have 2 dogs and a cat of my own. I don’t expect to bring them often, but if I can bring any number of them that would be awesome! I would only consider bringing my cat if I can bring at least one of my dogs. I don’t trust strange dogs around her and she doesn’t like other cats so neither could be involved. One of my dogs can be choosy around other dogs. As far as I can tell, it’s an energy thing. The higher energy the other dog is, the longer it takes him to trust it. So for that reason I wouldn’t want to risk bringing him if other dogs are involved. My other dog is a perfect angel that loves everyone she’s ever met, except cows, she’s unsure about cows but she’s never been close. I’m guessing she would be that way with any large grazing animal. The only way I would bring any of them is if I could have them with me the entire trip. So flights would be out of the question if I’m bringing a pet. And of course only with permission.

Pet care

I’ve been pet sitting locally since 2019 and not to toot my own horn but I am the highest rated house sitter in the area with more repeat clients than anyone else. travelTravel plans

My only travel plans are to spend quality time with your pets and explore the area, even better if I can do them together! I have no major issues with timing, I do this kind of thing for a living, so as long as I’m available and I have at least a weeks notice, there shouldn’t be any issues there.

Peace of mind

Happy you!
