I would be honored to sit for you for free in exchange for rent-free accommodation. While I am willing to accept sitting jobs anywhere in the U.S., I would prefer to limit my travel expenses to longer-term (more than two weeks) sitting assignments unless I am already in the area completing a sit, have a sit scheduled in the area following yours, or am vacationing nearby. I warmly invite you to inquire as to my schedule and regional travel plans.

As a substitute teacher and former U.S. military servicemember, I have successfully undergone multiple police, federal agency, and military background checks. While I am not currently active on social media, I am always happy to text, email, or conduct phone/video calls (I added WhatsApp a few months ago for my recently completed trip to New Zealand) with homeowners to discuss your sitting needs.

Depending upon the length of the stay, I'm happy to engage in light housework (vacuuming, dusting, etc.), plant care, and garden/lawn maintenance per your instructions.

Jason is a conscientious sitter. He took excellent care of our animals, plants, and home. When several storms damaged our fence, he resourcefully repaired it using available materials. He maintained excellent communication, keeping us updated without being intrusive. Our cat even felt at ease enough to sleep on his bed, which speaks volumes about the care he provided.
