My country ranch-style house sits on 2,5 acres with 6 fruit trees. The area is quiet with really no traffic. It is on a dirt road. It is a nice walk to Brite Lake. Bike and hiking trails in town and not far from southern Sierras for serious hiking, It is about 3 miles easy drive into the town. The Central Coast and LA are each about a 2.5 hour drive. Bakersfield is 45 minutes; Lake Isabella. one hour. There is a nice-sized master bedroom with a CA king bed and a smart TV. There are two smaller bedrooms with queen beds. Large back and front lawns with hedges add privacy. A horse barn with 3 stalls. It is clean, one-story, simple, with comfortable semi-southwest decor. A nice large front patio with table and chairs. Carpets in livingroom and bedrooms. There is no air conditioning but there are several fans that, for me. cool enough during late August-early September. No dishwasher. Lots of parking for cars, and RV's. I have a black cat named Willy (about 7 years old) that needs people around and a little daily tending to as far as letting in and out goes, and feeding. Watering and lawn mowing can be discussed. Tehachapi is a small mountain town but there are concerts. festivals, plays, and a weekly Farmer's Market. Movie theater, coffee shops, restaurants, pickel ball courts, skateoard park. Free high speed internet. Please dogs and cats freak out my pet. No smoking. Must like kitty cats.
