Our home

My house is located in an older established neighborhood in Tacoma, WA. The location is very walkable, with sidewalks to the waterfront (about a mile away) and two small commercial areas with coffee shops and restaurants less than a mile away. Hiking in Mount Rainier or Olympic Peninsula under two-hour drives. Downtown Seattle about 45 mins to an hour away depending on time of day.

My 14-year old kitty, Felix, is somewhat set in his ways and needs to be in his home. He loves a good lap-sit in the morning and in the evening if you want to read or watch a movie on the sofa. Otherwise, he hides himself away and sleeps most of the day and night. He has a cat-door in a basement window and comes and goes as he pleases. No inside litter maintenance required. Four houseplants just need to be watered once a week. No outside care required.

I am going to visit adult children in Los Angeles while away. I hope to find a pet sitter who would enjoy being in the beautiful northwest in a lovely old neighborhood. Look forward to hearing from you.

I love the walkability of my neighborhood. Walk down the hill to Old Town Tacoma, waterfront and restaurants. Walk the other direction and you'll be in a small commercial district with pubs and coffee shops
