We are pet lovers and have always enjoyed taking care of them. We are organized, neat, responsible, dependable, and self-reliant. We have about 25 years experience caring for cats. Larry was around dogs almost from the time he was born, starting with a very protective Teddy the chow. We have about 25 years experience caring for cats. Larry was around dogs almost from the time he was born, starting with a very protective Teddy the chow. His last doggie was Duke the boxer that he had to leave behind with his folks when at 17, he joined the Navy. We have traveled to all states, except Alaska, and more than 21 countries. We are retired, active seniors and have flexibility to accept house and pet sitting assignments. We currently live in beautiful, sunny Arizona.

Sandy worked for 16 years doing non-medical home care for seniors. She provided a lot of companionship to seniors that were housebound. She was responsible for the safety and care of her clients and their pets. She made sure they took their meds. She also took care of their shower and hygiene needs. She did housekeeping, prepared meals, grocery shopping, took clients to doctors and hair appointments. If there were maintenance or repair needs around the house, she contacted the appropriate people and got things taken care of in a timely manner.

Larry started working at age 11 with a paper route and has hardly stopped since then. After years of delivering papers, he became a lifeguard at the community pool in his hometown. He was also responsible for cleaning and maintaining the pool. In the winter he maintained the ice skating rink.

He left home at 17 to join the Navy and has been independent, self-reliant and a responsible adult since then. Larry served his country for eight years as an engineer. He was a qualified nuclear reactor operator.

We lived in Hawaii and managed a 12-story 100-unit apartment complex. We were responsible for cleaning and maintaining the pool and sauna, keeping the public areas clean (laundry room, fitness room, hallways), cleaning and showing apartments.

We moved to Ohio and Larry went on to have a career for many years as a sales engineer. His main expertise was working with the automotive industry in technical sales. This job required a lot of travel in the U.S. He also traveled occasionally to the main office in Germany.

While living in Ohio, we purchased a 4-unit townhouse. We lived in one unit and rented the other three. We were responsible for all aspects of property management and performed all maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.

After Larry retired from sales, he became a real estate agent. He left real estate and did a work-at-home gig for a social science research company. He was a supervisor/mentor for 40-50 people around the country, including Puerto Rico. While doing his work-at-home gig, he also became an Uber/Lyft driver. He really liked that gig because he loves to drive and he enjoyed meeting and talking with his passengers.

Larry and Sandy were the best house and pet sitters we could have asked for. Their communication before, during and after the pet sit was fantastic and timely, always very fast to respond. We felt comfortable with them staying at our house and they took extremely good care of our home. Larry was kind enough to make a repair for us as well. Dory was well taken care of and a happy kitty when we got back. We appreciated the updates on Dory during the 8 weeks we were away. We came home to a very ... We would definitely recommend Larry and Sandy for house/pet sitting!
