We are going to be away this summer and we would love to have someone to care for our lovely cat, Simon. Our situation is quite unique. Simon is an outdoor cat. He is shy yet he loves humans. He is a feee spirit He comes and goes whenever he likes though he is always here in the morning, snack in the afternoon and dinner at night. Simon usually roams around the hood and he isn’t a stranger to our neighbors.

We are going to be away this summer and we would love to have someone to care for our lovely cat, Simon. Our situation is quite unique. Simon is an outdoor cat. He is shy yet he loves humans. He is a feee spirit He comes and goes whenever he likes though he is always here in the morning, snack in the afternoon and dinner at night. Simon usually roams around the hood and he isn’t a stranger to our neighbors.
A lot of time, he would just sunbathe in our backyard or cool himself off under the shade when it gets too hot. In the winter, he loves to cuddle in his little house under the porch. We always open the door to welcome him inside the house. Sometimes he would come in to sit with us or he would just jump and lie down on the sofa. Simon loves humans touch especially on his head and on his neck. He is an amazing boy. Most of the times, he stays outdoors at night but once in awhile, he would sleep in the house. And if this is the case, he would meow for you to let him out of the house in the middle of the night. We have no litter box in the house. He does his business outside only. Simon is looking for some cat lovers to keep him company while we are away.

I loved this sit! Huong’s house is beautiful as is the garden and surrounding area. Simon was a hoot. He’s a free spirt that secretly loves to be fawned over. He is obviously loved by Huong and family. While all the normal things that one looks for on a sit were top notch, the real reason that this sit was great was Huong and family. They are just wonderful people. Huong is generous to a fault, making sure to leave me lots of left-overs and other food as well as a stipend for food at the ... MoreI loved this sit! She and family went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. We had a great meal and lots of conversation prior to them leaving. I felt like they were friends from the start. Simon is affectionate, very independent, and a lover. He likes eating when you’re in the room and loves his treats. There is a heated bed on the porch allowing him to keep close watch on his yard and every now and then he will curl up for cuddles indoors. We bonded and I miss him already. Communication with Huong and her family was easy despite the time difference. Her kitchen is superb the appliances are top notch it was nice to cook and eat in home. A guest room / some shelves & hangers with heated bath at the top of winding stairs and the very comfortable mattress await any sitter lucky enough to be chosen as Simon’s companion.

huong and her family are lovely people and I thoroughly enjoyed house sitting for them. Simon the cat is adorable and enjoys human company. The house has a gorgeous back yard which was a peaceful retreat. huong kept in touch with me regularly. I highly recommend this sit.
