Our home

Saint Petersburg is a beautiful beach community. We live in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood on the south side of Saint Petersburg. We are only 12 minutes to downtown and very close to lots of beautiful local beaches, including Gulfport Saint Pete Beach and Fort De Soto.
We are looking for someone to housesit for us and care for our two dogs and cat while we are away. Whitney is a 45 pound terrier mix and Pablo is an 18 pound Havanese terrier mix. They will need to be walked daily, preferably ... Read moreSaint Petersburg is a beautiful beach community. We live in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood on the south side of Saint Petersburg. We are only 12 minutes to downtown and very close to lots of beautiful local beaches, including Gulfport Saint Pete Beach and Fort De Soto.
We are looking for someone to housesit for us and care for our two dogs and cat while we are away. Whitney is a 45 pound terrier mix and Pablo is an 18 pound Havanese terrier mix. They will need to be walked daily, preferably in the morning and afternoon. Our cat tends to keep to himself, but he will come out and give you some love while you’re here. We have an automated litter box, but we would need you to check the litter every 3 to 4 days and refresh it.
We have a huge backyard that the dogs can run around in with a hot, hot tub and a cold plunge on the patio. You are more than welcome to enjoy.
We do have some plants, but minimal watering required

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We’re in a great Spot 12 minutes south of downtown close to a bunch of local beaches. There’s also a cute coffee shop at sky Beach Hotel called Paradeco that you can walk to with the dogs. It’s a gorgeous beachfront area that you can go hang out at.

Whitney and Pablo are my two dogs and are happiest when they get at least one walk per day if you can swing it a quick 10 to 15 minute walk in the morning in the afternoon is preferred. They are both to cuddle bugs and we just wanna hang out with you and cuddle with you on the couch while you watch TV. They are also really good on adventures. You can take them to the dog park or the dog beach and let them run around off leash. They will come back to you.

Pablo takes anxiety medication. It’s half a pill we put in his breakfast in the morning.

Sally and Scott are an absolute joy, as was this all-around terrific housesitting experience. The kitty Luka is a sweetie and the pups are huge snuggle bugs; Pablo is the cutest powder puff, while Whitney looks like a movie star. The dogs listen extremely well so our adventures together were stress-free and a ton of fun! They’re incredible with kids too. Sally left a detailed house guide but the care for all three was super easy; the litter is automatic and they can all go out to the backyard, ... The house is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. St. Pete’s many attractions are just a quick drive or trolley ride away and when you get back, the hot tub is a relaxing way to wind down the day. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!!! 10/10.
