Hi there! I'm Kathleen in Loveland, Colorado. I fell in love with Colorado on a cross-country trip in my youth and decided to move here from Chicago. I love the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, the climate and people. My career was with Hewlett-Packard in various admin roles and web publishing. Ten years ago I joined a non-profit as a volunteer doing web support overseas. My travel has tapered off and I now do some support from home, and volunteer at local organizations.

Kathleen was open and easy-going the minute we met her. She made Steve and I feel at ease about leaving our dogs and our home with a stranger. We knew that she was trust-worthy and caring and she proved it. Our house and our dogs were left in tip-top condition. We would have her care for our dogs any day.

Kathleen took great care of Atlas and ourplants. Comunication was perfect too. Kathleen was upfront with me about her health issues which she believes to be a result of "WIFI." If you have a Ring doorbell or similar (or other outside security cameras they will be deactivated completely, by her, with no WIFI. There was an incident where someone walked on our driveway to check the door of our car, (seen through footprints in the snow). Our car was locked, so the potential thief moved on. Sadly, ... Sadly, this person was not able to be captured on camera because the WIF was off. Also, upon returning, two of our three Xfinity TV's were not functioning because they also run on wifi which was deactivated. We sorted it out in 20-30 minutes but after a long trip this is not what we wanted to deal with

I received permission to use ethernet instead of wifi from Aileen and Tom. Also, I know many people who turn off wifi at night for better quality of sleep. MoreI received permission to use ethernet instead of wifi from Aileen and Tom. Also, I know many people who turn off wifi at night for better quality of sleep. Knowing the wifi controlled their cameras, they still gave me permission. In our prior meetings I shared with the host that I don’t housesit in homes with indoor cameras – Aileen said they only had outdoor cameras. On the back of their home there are two cameras that not only capture the patio but also the indoors of the house. I was glad I had permission to turn off the wifi because I didn’t want to be on camera the whole time.

We so appreciated and enjoyed having Kathleen stay at our home and care for our dog and cat. She communicated well--asking questions as needed while we were away (we really appreciate that!). The home was left very neat and clean and our pets were happy and peaceful when we returned. Kathleen is highly recommended as a house/pet sitter and welcome back to our home any time.

Kathleen took great care of our cottage and pets. Our two cats are indoor/outdoor, requiring a little more logistics. Communication was excellent, our two cats well cared for, and the house neat and clean.
