We are Julie and Joe, a couple in our 60s. We love pets and we love to travel. We are new to House Sitters America but come with lots of experience.

I am a retired wildlife biologist in my early 60s. Joe is a retired massage therapist in his mid-60s. We have had dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, and a rabbit in our lives, and have house sat and cared for wonderful pets including dogs, cats, chickens, amphibians, reptiles--and plants. We are new to House Sitters America but come with lots of experience.

I am a retired wildlife biologist in my early 60s. Joe is a retired massage therapist in his mid-60s. We have had dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, and a rabbit in our lives, and have house sat and cared for wonderful pets including dogs, cats, chickens, amphibians, reptiles--and plants. This April, we will be house sitting and caring for 2 dogs (1 elder), 2 cats (1 blind), and 9 chickens in Portugal and are quite excited about that opportunity. I have recently completed two online courses in pet first aid & CPR.

We have owned homes separately and together including a vacation rental that we managed for many years so we understand how important is it is to care for your home. We are handy with minor repairs and yardwork. We have traveled throught the U.S. and internationally and look forward to many more trips.
