Our home

NAPA: The best place for wine and food! We have a very nice, private house on an acre. We are visited daily by our neighbors chickens, sheep and pig. We give them treats but they aren’t our responsibility. They are wonderful.

We have one cat who keeps to herself. She is in and out. She does need a pill crushed in her food twice a day. No set time for this so whenever you wake up and whenever you are having dinner.

Sheila has a lovely home in a very beautiful and peaceful setting with everything you need. The location is ideal, out away from things but under 10 minutes to town. The two cats, Jackson and Tacha, were easy to care for. Tacha needs medication, but just mix it into her food and she eats it. She had developed a pee problem just before my arrival, but it stopped a day or two into my visit and Sheila communicated clearly about it and provided everything I needed to deal with it - including a ... The yard work was simple, just watering various trees and plants. I spent as much time as possible on the beautiful deck listening to the creek and watching the birds. I work remotely and the desk in the sunroom provided a great workspace and the wifi was quick and reliable.

Sheila was such a gracious host, not only did she have the home professionally cleaned before we arrived, but she also left some of that great Napa wine for us to enjoy. The cats were completely easy peasy, and they were entertaining with wonderful personalities. The house had every modern convenience you would need for a comfortable sit, and it was just outside the Napa city limits with a very secluded, private, and relaxing setting. We would highly recommend this sit for anyone who would like ...
