Our home

This is a two bedroom, top floor unit of a 23 unit building. We are in Mercer Island, between Seattle and Bellevue. This island is connected by bridge to both towns, no ferry needed. Our dining area has lovely views that make it feel a bit like being in a tree house. I think the part a house sitter might enjoy the most is the balcony which is lovely, for morning coffee, an evening drink or grilling. Free local beaches in the summer time mean put a folding lounger in your trunk and hang out at the lake under an Eagle tree with a good book. Portable air conditioning non usually needed, but available.

You can walk to the grocery store, bank, restaurants. There is a lovely wine bar, french bakery, and starbucks in the immediate vicinity

Our cat has an automatic feeder and water, which may require filling once. His litter box needs regular cleaning and that's the most demanding part of this job. We are really looking for someone who loves cats to be in the apartment with him while we are gone. Major responsibilities include using laser toy, playing around. This is an easy one!
