Hi there and I'm so glad you've clicked on our profile! My name is Kat and my daughter (9) does sits with me.

My family has always had animals (even some exotics) and I partially grew up on over 300 Louisiana acres (so, yes, I have experience with livestock/rural living). I, also, have experience with; dog boarding/kennels, as a vet assistant/tech, volunteering at animal shelters, a season as a barn hand and groundskeeper, private (animal) fostering and pet sits (compensated and not). Kat and Jazmin were fantastic at taking care of our cattle, chickens, cats and dog. Our Australian Shepherd can be reactive and isn't always the best at making new friends, and was supposed to stay at a kennel during our time away. Kat and Jazmin came two days early to become acquainted with the chores and responsibilities, and our dog and them hit it off fantastically and they asked for him to stay with them. What a delightful family! I must admit at I was hesitant to have a family sit (we have no children so the cats were not used to kids), but no worries! Kat is a wonderfully compassionate person, and her two kids are thoughtful and very well-behaved. The cats, both indoor and outdoor, were cared for excellently. The house was in better shape than when we left. I would definitely recommend these folks to care for your pets and home, and would happily have them sit for us again. Thanks Kat, ... Kat was a great Housesitter! Very attentive to the pets! She played with them and engaged them and sent lots of pictures, which we loved! She left the house better than when we left. She was punctual and reliable with good communication before and during the sit! Highly recommended!
