I love helping people and really desire for my clients to feel at ease while on vacation or away for business. It can be stressful and my goal is for you to know that your pets and home are being cared for by a trustworthy person with experience.

I born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, attended college preparatory school in Lake Forest, Illinois and the University of Iowa. Following school I became a professional travel consultant for over 30 years, owning my own travel agency for 22 of those years. Additionally I worked in marketing for a resort development company at Lodge of Four Seasons at Lake of the Ozarks showcasing the properties and working with property owners.

I've lived in several areas based upon my career and interests which include Vail, Denver, Austin, Lake Ozark, and Baton Rouge while raising four children and our dogs who were members of our family.

Due to my profession, working with my clients, and having been long time home owner I'm intimately intimately aware of the needs of those who need a responsible person to care for their home and pets while away for extended periods of time and short getaways. Throughout the years I've done house sitting for family and friends.

My father had Alzheimer's so I spent several years caring for him, my children are grown, I sold my house and am looking to experience a possible new area in which to live.

I'd love to help you feel comfortable and at ease while away from your home caring for it and your loving pets as if they were my own.

I'll provide you with updates as much as you need, including photos, video, and daily schedules for your pets' activities, and home maintenance with respect for your needs. I'm single and 56, so you don't have to worry about wild parties or a person just looking for a place to vacation.

I look forward to assisting you as a professional and loving care giver for your pets big or small.

I was born and raised with dogs of all kinds including at my family's home and my grandmother's next door. I've also adopted and cared for our dogs of all personalities and sizes. Read moreI was born and raised with dogs of all kinds including at my family's home and my grandmother's next door. I've also adopted and cared for our dogs of all personalities and sizes. Recently I took care of a Jack Russel terrier, who was a six month old puppy. I've even cared for my former husband's dog and cat. Over the years I've watched other friends dogs and my kids' hamsters, guinea pigs, and even a sand crab. As a kid I took care of horses at summer camp.
