Our home

Comfortable, single-story home (3 beds and 3 baths), on 1/2 acre in residential community outside of Philadelphia. Off street parking. Very easy access to Philadelphia and beyond via trains. Many walking/hiking opportunities in area ( Pennypack park system close by). 1 hour to NJ beaches.
Dog is a 10 year old English setter named Maggie...she is sweet and loves walks....her priorities are hunting, food and then people. She can be by herself for up to about ... Dog is a 10 year old English setter named Maggie...she is sweet and loves walks....her priorities are hunting, food and then people. She can be by herself for up to about 7 hours without a problem. The yard is fenced. There are veggies and flowered areas that may require watering or light weeding. If you like rhubarb this is the place! There is a sizable deck in the rear with gas grill and a fire pit in the lower yard. By the time of this trip the house will be on solar! It has central air, gas heat and a gas fireplace. I am a quasi- retired nurse and empty nester who is traveling a bit, both this summer and after, so multiple opportunities could be available. Hoping to find a reliable and caring home sitter/dog person(s) so I can relax and enjoy some new experiences. More pix when I figure it out!

Review

Maggie is one of the loveliest dogs we have been lucky enough to look after. Her personality and joy belie her senior age. She was so keen to go on walks and loved snuggles in the evening. Martha was so generous and warm. We felt so welcome in her beautiful home. We would happily come back to spend time with Maggie again.
