We are a married couple who are happily retired and enjoying traveling through taking care of other people's homes and pets while they are away. We signed on to this website in 2011 and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting different homeowners and their pets over the years! We have done house/cat sitting in Fallbrook, CA. 3 different times for the same couple! We don't smoke or drink and God has blessed us with excellent health. We try to eat right and take walks together often. We keep a very clean and tidy home! Carole and David recently sat for a month with our two difficult cats. They were very caring of our little creatures and went beyond whatever we asked of them. And our home was cleaner when we returned than when we went away. We would highly recommend Carole and David.

David and Carole were excellent Housesitters! They arrived the evening before my trip so that we had time to go over everything and introduce them to my dogs. They communicated with me constantly while I was gone and sent pictures. They also kept my house just as clean as how I left it and left a detailed report for me. To my surprise when I returned, they had left a sweet picture of my fur babies in a frame and a thank you card. That really impressed me! They took my 3 fur babies for ... David and Carolle Tallman are just wonderful! They recently completed a three week sit for us and we have nothing but praise for them. Our spoiled kitty - Miss Ginny - was so well cared for and absolutely no stress for any of us. They were prompt with communication, thorough with details, so very friendly and paid close attention to all the little "quirks" to expect from our house. We enthusiastically endorse Carole and David, who did a fantastic job looking after our home and two aged Cavalier King Charles spaniels for 3 weeks in late summer 2017. This included a 10-day period while we were canoeing in a remote wilderness area with no phone, text or email capability.They arrived one day before our departure to ensure we had plenty of time to orient them to our house and pets. Once, they phoned us to ask about one of the dogs not eating enough, questioning whether to take ... Once, they phoned us to ask about one of the dogs not eating enough, questioning whether to take her to a vet. We reassured them that this was not unusual, and suggested adding tuna to the dogs' bowls, which solved the problem. We greatly appreciated their diligence, care and clear communication. Upon returning home, we found our dogs in excellent health and devoted to David and Carole! Our sitters maintained a written record of the dogs' eating history during our trip, along with a list of dates when they had watered the indoor house plants and outside plants and shrubs. They left our home much cleaner than they found it, laundering their bed and bath linens and even cleaning the entire kitchen, refrigerator, oven and windows. And they left us a lovely thank-you card and framed photo of our two dogs. What a delightful, kind, caring, organized and clean couple-- we heartily recommend them!
