Our home

Clean and comfy 2 bedroom 1920’s bungalow in Detroit. This is a great block with an established artist community and good neighbors. Hamtramck is a small municipality within Detroit, and has one of the most diverse populations in the US next to Queens NY. Formerly a Polish enclave, recent immigrants are from all over the Middle East and Central Europe, and there is a strong LGBT presence. Guests would use the guest room, which has a full-size bed and dresser.
There is a full open plan kitchen, renovated bath, full size fridge, living room with couch, fast wifi and good heating. Work from home office with desk and Aeron chair. Note, the bathroom sink is being replaced and should be finished by July. If not, I use the kitchen sink, 10ft away, at the moment! I have been rehabbing this house for many years.

I have two friendly and affectionate cats, siblings, that need to be fed every day and have their litter scooped. That's it! They're easy.

Located near major freeways and 8 minutes from Midtown, Eastern Market, Wayne State University and Downtown Detroit.

I have two healthy and friendly cats, 4 years old, siblings. They are easy, they need to be fed every day and have their litter scooped, and they love pets and will often chase and fetch their toys.

Important info

It's preferable to have a car in Detroit. In summertime it's quite bikeable, and walkable in this particular neighborhood, but it's a large sprawling city and you will be more mobile with a car as public transportation is limited.
