About Me
I'm a 65 year old, single, retired small-town lawyer, currently no pets of my own, fully vaccinated and boosted, and tobacco and drug free. When I meet new cats and dogs, I usually offer a gentle ear massage, which is most often GREATLY enjoyed, right away by dogs and by cats, well, whenever they decide they're darned good and ready! And if they're up for it, I like to treat them to a daily coat brushing. I'm hoping for at least a few household chores while I’m there and always clean and organize as I go. I typically send daily photos so you can see what your crew is up to.
Why Housesitting?
I really enjoy the travel aspect of pet/house sitting and spending time in new places. Like many I suppose, I’m trying my best to make up for all the travel none of us were able to enjoy for a couple of years there. And to have your efforts be rewarded throughout the day with an appreciative tail wag or contented cat lap-nap, is simply the best.

If there was an Olympics of house sitters, Paul would definitely take gold. He did so much above and beyond what I've experienced before, including sending daily amazing portraits of my cat, bringing his own bedding to make my life easier before a trip, handling some requests about mail received, taking care to understand the needs of the house and cat, and leaving me with food upon my return. Do not hesitate to engage him!
Paul was an exceptional house sitter. He was very attentive during our walk through and even took notes. He left our house in super clean condition and was attentive to many details. He took such great care of Tilly. He brushed her very often and she looked beautiful! He also sent pictures of her every few days and was great at staying in touch. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Paul to return for another house sit. Thank you, Paul!!

Paul was absolutely wonderful with my 2 dogs and 1 cat. When he first arrived he took special care to meet and spend time with each of the animals...he was very respectful of the cat's wariness. He sent charming pictures of the crew, who were obviously happy to have made a new friend. When I came home the house was as good as(or maybe even better) when I left it. I highly recommend Paul. He took exceptional care of our dog. House was spotless, and sheets and towels were washed. He took us to the airport and picked us. He texted me pictures every day. He cleaned leaves out if our pool. It was like having a guardian angel while we were gone.
Five stars and 10 cat paws!!! If Paul reaches out to you for a house sit, DO NOT DELAY on your decision to confirm the sit. He is responsible, comunicative, professional and takes his housesitting/pet care responsibility seriously. He offered to pick me up at the airport upon my return. Paul sent regular texts with photos of our cat and he handled a plumbing emergency with ease. (this issue was not his fault). My house was exactly as clean as it was when we left three weeks earlier.
