Our home

Hi! We are looking for a house and pet sitter from 6/6-6/15 while we are on vacation.

Our house is located in beautiful Golden, Colorado and is surrounded by great outdoor activities! We're also just under a mile from downtown Golden which has tons of great restaurants, shops, and breweries. Our house is a 3BR, 2Bath bi-level with a recently remodeled kitchen as of Feb 2022.

Our house is located in beautiful Golden, Colorado and is surrounded by great outdoor activities! We're also just under a mile from downtown Golden which has tons of great restaurants, shops, and breweries. Our house is a 3BR, 2Bath bi-level with a recently remodeled kitchen as of Feb 2022.

Our dog Bruno is super sweet and loves all dogs and humans. He loves to snuggle and play with his toys. We typically take him on walks a couple times a day for at least 30 mins. He loves hiking and is usually good for up to 10 miles. When we are out walking, he does like to greet dogs and can pull a bit, so we encourage him to sit and wait with a treat (bring kibble) while other dogs pass by.

Our cat Ginger spends a lot of her time outdoors when it's warm out or in the sunroom/house lounging and tends to stay to herself. Once she gets comfortable with people, she will rub your leg frequently and will eventually let you pet her on her terms.

We have one 6 year old dog, Bruno, who is super affectionate and loves going on walks. We also have a cat, Ginger, who sticks to herself and loves to be in the backyard in the summer. We are looking for someone who would take Bruno walks and feed the animals.

Bruno needs one allergy pill a day. We give it to him with peanut butter.

Minimal - Yard is on a sprinkler system, so would just need our vegetable garden watered. No mowing necessary.

This was a super easy-going and fun sit. Michael and Carly were communicative and helpful while they were away for basically a month. Bruno (dog) and Ginger (cat) were just fantastic - five star pets. Playful and friendly, Bruno was up for long walks and adventures every day. I'm seriously gonna miss these sweet animals. Would definitely sit for these guys again!

Ben and I fell in love with Bruno and Ginger! We loved sitting for Carly and Michael, who were so generous and kind. Their home is in a beautiful location in Golden, close to trails to take little Bruno out for walks on! We would love to care for Bruno and Ginger again, they were perfect and such fun!

We had a lovely stay at Michael and Carly's place in Golden. The house was cosy, clean and lovely - we felt very at home. We throughly enjoyed exploring the area and hanging out with Ginger and Bruno. We were traveling with our wee girl and we felt very accommodated for. Michael and Carly even left their car for us to use. We feel like we have made some lifelong friends and can't wait to catch up again down the track and have you stay with us in New a Zealand sometime! Thanks for having us!
