I have experience with chickens, parrots, fish, reptiles, cats, and dogs, including the "senior" crowd. I am happy to attend to most gardening needs. I've owned both homes and condos. I am bonded and insured.

When the pups are obviously upset that the house sitter is leaving, you know that everything went well. Katherine was fabulous, taking great care of our little friends and equally great care of our home. Katherine's stay coincided with a severe cold snap. She took care to cover vulnerable potted plants, took steps to keep the pipes from bursting, and braved the cold on walks with the dogs. A wonderful person whom we were so pleased to meet, we will happily invite Katherine to our home on ... Katherine is our favorite pet sitter, and yes, we have actually scheduled our vacations around her availability. My 6 cats love her and their lives go on seamlessly when we leave, as long as "Aunt Katherine" is there to take the helm. She expertly deals with their individual quirks and needs, whether wrangling them in from the catio, or throwing the mouse over & over for "Miss Relentless". She is fun-loving, genuinely caring and very professional. And in a pinch, Katherine really comes through ... We're so thankful we found Katherine to take care of our farm and cats while we were away on vacation. She was more than capable of handling daily tasks and treated our animals with care and kindness. Communications were timely and easy to understand and she handled challenges smoothly. We highly recommend Katherine and hope to have her back at the farm soon.
Katherine managed my household with 2 dogs and 2 cats for 16 days. The house was clean when I left and clean when I got home. She communicated with me often and as needed- sending many pics. She successfully managed everything during an unusually cold and snowy time in Atlanta. The pets warmed up to her quickly. Katherine even left me some homemade chicken and rice soup. Very thoughtful. I will happily work with Katherine again.

This is the second time Katherine has watched my family of 4 kitties. She has a lot of experience taking care of animals and homes and it shows. Her attention to detail and communication is excellent. She genuinely loves animals and they respond in kind. You can feel confident that things will be taken care of when you're away. I highly recommend.

If only there were more stars to give Katherine Kittensitter as she is AWESOME! Not only were our kitties happy she returned to push her number of nights spent here with them to 337 but our neighbors were happy to have her back in the community as they do love having her as a "part-time resident!" We, of course, continue to appreciate not just the love and attention she gives Tiger and Grizzy and that she takes such good care of our home to include managing garden irrigation, but because she ... Kathrine is the absolute best, and we appreciate her help and expertise so much. She sat with our Siamese cats and parrots for three weeks and was absolutely fantastic—we never had any worries. Thank you, Kathrine!
Katherine arrived promptly and the pets immediately liked her. She has a great connection with them. She sent pictures while we were away so we could see all the fun the pups were having. She kept in great communication while we were planning and was very thorough. Hope to have her back in the future.
Katherine was a great house sitter. Her communication with us was exceptional both before and during the sit. She sent pictures daily and when there was a question about one of the cat’s behaviors she was quick to contact us and discuss the situation. The house was well taken care of and the cats didn’t seem to mind our absence. We would be happy to have her house/cat sit for us again.
Katherine staying with my 2 rescue dogs was wonderful. They can be very nervous but warmed up very quickly and she sent lots of photos and messages to keep me up to date. Her care of my house was immaculate and I will have her dog sit again and would recommend d to a friend!

Once again, Katherine took excellent care of our pets and home. We really appreciate that she takes the stress out of travel.

Kat responded to my advert from the USA and we corresponded prior to her arriving in nz. She spent 4 days with us prior to our departure and took our dogs and both residences in her stride! We jelled immediately and our dogs took an instant liking to her! All credit to Kat arriving into a foreign country and taking 3 dogs on! She settled into our small county community and embellished every opportunity that came her way! Can’t fault Kat as a pet and house sitter! Houses were clean and tidy on ... Recently, we went out of town for two weeks. We needed a house sitter, and also our two pups needed someone who could be in our home with them. Katherine arrived, confident and happy. She was a positive influence on our two pups, taught them some tricks and took them on outings with her. Our home was clean when we left and clean when we arrived home. Our dogs were happy, too. Katherine arrived as a pet sitter and left as a friend. We were ALL sorry to see her go. She epitomizes flexibility (agreed to sit for 3 cats, but we added 2 rambunctious kittens - she even helped me take them in for spay/neuter surgeries and happily took on post-op care/meds). All 5 kitties loved their time with Katherine. She played actively with them every day and sent wonderful photos & videos of the fun they were having. Katherine came at what turned out to be a very difficult time for us, but from the moment we met her we knew she'd be a great fit. Her communication is excellent, and all of our cats were immediately comfortable with her. She was calm, confident, and compassionate with our sick and elderly cat, and took delight in the other two. She is a gem; if she's free to house sit for you, don't hesitate!
Katherine took care of my two cats while I was away. Her communication before, during and after the visit was impeccable. My cats seemed well cared for, and I received pictures along the way. Katherine also has an active instagram account, so I could see what she was doing in my town, as well as see more pictures of the cats. Katherine was great! She is reliable, thoughtful and a lovely person to boot. She sent us lots of pictures of our dog which made us feel comfortable that our puppy was in good hands. She also took care of our fish and our plants for us. When we got back our house was clean and just the way we left it. I highly recommend Katherine, we were lucky to have her.
Katherine made us feel very comfortable that our fur babies were well taken care of during our two-week trip. We were at-ease with her caring for our home as well. She sent daily updates and photos which were a highlight of our day. Our dog Summer absolutely loved her and even our grumpy anti-social cat Olive came around for some treats and play :) We would not hesitate to use Katherine again for future trips!

Katherine was excellent to work with. We've worked with a lot of house sitters over the years, and she embodied all of the qualities we look for in a sitter. Great communication, a real love for our four cats, and a careful steward of our home. I appreciated her attention as I described all of the little details involved in running our home. And I am especially grateful that she was so patient with our extremely high-energy brother cats. You're in good hands with Katherine.

Katherine was a perfect fit! Ziggy the cat wouldn't have much to do with me until after she left! Will definitely look to use her in the future. She also handled our problem dog with needed confidence.

Katherine makes being far from home for a long time so relaxing and enjoyable as we don't have to worry at all about the care of our home or our sweet "kittens" as she is so responsible, respectful, conscientious, thoughtful, proactive AND fun! If there were more than 5 stars to check we would do just that! We--and the "kittens"-- are excited to have her coming back for 2 more long stays next year.

Katherine was awesome from the first communication to the last! She was very good at texting and keeping in touch during the housesit. I felt 100% comfortable on my vacation that my senior cat and house were in good hands with her. When I returned Hershey was happy and the house was in order. I appreciate making a new friend, too!

Katherine helped me out in a pinch when I was already out of town and without pet care. While we never met, her communication left me feeling secure that my cats would be well cared for. Katherine has a great sense of responsibility and knew when to reach out with any questions/concerns. I returned home to a clean home and happy cats. I would definitely recommend Katherine to care for any pet or home. Great experience!
Katherine did an outstanding job taking care of our dogs and chicks. We came home to a clean, well cared for home, happy, healthy dogs and food (meals) prepared for us. Katherine is a wonderful communicator....we received texts almost daily with pictures of the dogs. We would be happy to welcome her back!

Katherine was fantastic! She arrived a day early to meet our pets & get oriented with the house. She is very pleasant & fun to talk to. We were gone for 6 weeks & not once during that time did I have to worry about our pets or home. A hurricane was forecasted to possibly hit Houston. Even though Katherine had never been through a hurricane, she was calm, cool & collected. Simply called & said what do I need to do? She prepared the house & grounds for the storm & never once wavered in her ... MoreKatherine was fantastic! She arrived a day early to meet our pets & get oriented with the house.
