We are a family that works and educates from home and we have found that housesitting provides us an opportunity to see this wonderful country as well as love and care for some amazing animals that we otherwise wouldn't have had the chance to.

We are Jenn, Andrew and Analis. We are trustworthy, reliable and sensitive to the individual needs of people and animals. None of us smoke. Our daughter (20) is home educated and currently enrolled in online college courses. She is as gentle with animals as her parents. We would treat your home mindfully, with care and attention.

Our daughter is very hands on in the caretaking especially the belly rubs and playing catch. We have recently reclocated from the UK and are so happy to be back ... What we bring to the assignment / relevant experience:

We have now been house sitting on and off since August 2014. We have gained extensive experience working with all different breeds of dogs (from Mastiffs to border terriers and everything in between) and many cats, reptiles, chickens and even a small herd of sheep. We have worked with elderly, special needs dogs, as well as puppies, carrying out the owner's requirements for training. Of course, we also have a soft spot for guinea pigs and birds.

Personally, Jenn spent 2 years in highschool working as an assistant in a vet surgery and as such has worked with all breeds of dogs and is sympathetic to different breed/medical needs. Also, she volunteered a few years in a science museum caring for tropical fish (including sharks), various reptiles and amphibians, as well as different bird species. She has worked as an environmental educator and studied wildlife biology... in short, she is very comfortable around all species of animals. Andrew has always had pets of various breeds and temperaments and on his daily long walks inevitably makes new friends as animals seem to gravitate towards him.

Our daughter as well is very gentle in her approach to animals and respects that every animal's needs are different, so she will always ask permission before petting, and allow the animal space where necessary... however she also loves to play ball and give belly scratches. She has a special affection for chickens.

Recently, she has volunteered at a horse rescue/sanctuary as well as a couple animal shelters.

Overall, we would all work together to make certain your pet was well loved and attended to according to your wishes in your absence as well as give them the atmosphere and attention that comes with a family. We joke that we like to give the pets their own kind of "vacation" while the owners are enjoying their time away.

We've been sitting since 2014, and previous to that had pets for most of our lives, including guinea pigs and birds. We've cared for reptiles and fish as well as special needs (medical/behavioral). We are comfortable with horses and livestock, but have limited experience with them other than ... Read moreWe've been sitting since 2014, and previous to that had pets for most of our lives, including guinea pigs and birds. We've cared for reptiles and fish as well as special needs (medical/behavioral). We are comfortable with horses and livestock, but have limited experience with them other than feeding. I am comfortable administering meds both oral and shots. We have also cooked special food for sick or picky eaters. We are comfortable with managing vet appts for regular issues or the occasional urgent issues. We dialogue with vets and homeowners if treatment is required and nurse fur babies back to full health when called for.

It's important to note that for our family, pets become our babies the moment we meet them and we love them as if they were our own kids.

Jenn's family is based in NC and our son is in NM. We try to stay as close as possible to the East Coast given mom's health, but seeing our son is equally important.

They are true animal lovers who will offer such expert and attentive care, you will be afraid your critters might not want you to return. :) We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a bearded dragon. Jenn, Andrew and Analis were excellent pet and house sitters in every way…loving and caring and “adopting” our dog and 2 cats as they were their very own, caring for our old house as well or better than we would, and extending genuine friendship in their open and genial manner. They demonstrated professional skill in taking our dog to the vet when it was needed. Also, they stayed in touch often and with adorable pictures. We would definitely ask them again with no hesitation whatsoever. ... Jenn and Andrew looked after our 3 cats for 2 months this winter. They were very easy to communicate with and took great care of the cats. One of the cats had a uti while we were away and they were able to set up vets appointments and get her medication organized. They even coped with the unusual amount of snow we had this year. We felt very comfortable leaving our pets with them and would recommend them as housesitters.
Jenn and Andrew are so wonderful! I swear they left our house cleaner than we did. Our three cats and dog were happy, healthy, and obviously well cared for. It was such a a relief to know we were leaving our pets in such good hands. We would gladly welcome them back any time!
wow - this was my first time having a house sitter via HA and I will surely repeat. Jenn, Andrew and Analis were wonderful - not just in the care of the property, but they took a special interest in my dog Maggie who I have no doubt misses them terribly! They kept in touch with me, were very friendly and responsible ....couldn"t have asked for more. I was delighted to find that my trip was worry free and Maggie was well cared for without having to leave home. Would definitely recommend ... Jenn, Andrew, and Annalis were absolutely delightful to have as house sitters. They were extremely kind and compassionate with our pups, meticulous with our home, and communicative every step of the way. We would welcome them back as house sitters...and as friends...any time and highly recommend them. They went above and beyond - and we would give them more stars if we could!
Words cannot describe how wonderful a decision this was, if you have the opportunity to have them, just do it! We had Jennifer, Andrew and Analis stay at our home while we traveled to Italy. Some friends thought this sounded crazy but after spending some time speaking on the phone we really felt at peace. We stayed connected getting to know each other a little more, which they are very intuitive about and understand as they have done this so many times. I simply cannot even believe this exists ... So glad I found Jennifer and Andrew and that they were available- at the last minute we needed help watching our silver tabby Miah and Jennifer responded that they could likely make it work. She stayed in touch through the whole process with multiple messages and responded to my texts and questions promptly. They took great care of our home and of course our precious Miah. I highly recommend them!
Beyond 5 stars if I could. Great communication and care for our animals. We would totally welcome them back in the future!

They were great. They arrived punctually, were excellent communicators, sending updates and photos almost every day we were gone. Our house was well cared-for and clean when we returned. They obviously loved our puppy and spent lots of time with him. Based on the photos we worried he would be more upset to see them go than happy to have us back.
Jenn, Andrew and Analis are thoroughly delightful and dedicated house and pet sitters. Our cats' nervous dispositions made the pet sitting part probably frustrating for them because they barely saw our cats. In spite of their great efforts Gracie and Wills remained shy. This was our first house sitting experience and we've learned that our cats truly can't warm to strangers. This was a shame for all concerned! In spite of this, Jenn kept me frequently informed and reassured about the well ... MoreJenn, Andrew and Analis are thoroughly delightful and dedicated house and pet sitters. Jennifer, Andrew, and Annalise were exceptional house sitters. My dog, Rosie fell in love, and I cannot think them enough for the attention they paid her. And they took great care of my home as well, treating it as their own. If you were lucky enough to have them sit for you, you are very lucky.!
I feel like I got so lucky. This family is so sweet and anyone who gets to have them will be lucky too. They are genuine and quite charming. My house and babies (dog, two horses and a cat) are all content since I’ve come home. This is my first time doing this and am so grateful that our stars lined up. What amazing house sitters! Andrew Jenn and their daughter Analis took amazing care of our cats and Rabbits and our home. Such a kind generous family, even buying treats for the pets and clearing up after our naughty cats. They kept us informed with photos to show how happy our pets were with them. I was delighted that they could sit for us a second time. I Would highly recommend them.

A totally delightful family, if you have read previous reviews of these guys then you will know that they are pretty much unbeatable in terms of how well and happy you will find your pets when you get home. Our cat tried to follow them to the car when they left, and the baby Guinea pigs were noticeably calm and well handled as well as cleaned out.. Not only that, they left the house cleaner than they found it and dinner in the fridge for when we got home. I very much hope they will come back!

My worry is that if I really tell you how good these people are as house-sitters then everyone will want them and they won't be available for us next time! They couldn't do enough to help. Andrew, Jen and Analis were just the best house sitters. They came to Norfolk to look after Minkie, my gentle shy Whippet. Mike clearly adored them and is missing them as they looked after her so well. I would love for them to house sit again. Jen kept me updated with pictures and messages which was reassuring.I came home to a clean tidy house and washing on the line which she had kindly washed. Would recommend Andrew and Jen.

Jen, Andrew and family were really great housesitters. They gave us total peace of mind whilst we were away for nearly 3 months particular,y when our old labrador was ill. It was a great relief to know that they were there to take her to the vets and care for her. They also got on famously with our new rescued cat probably better than us! I knew from the moment I communicated with them before the sit, that they would be perfect for our dogs and their varying needs. They were happy to continue our training regime for our reactive dog, to cope with our elderly dog and all her medications and wobbles, and to give all three of them all the love they can handle. I don't think the dogs wanted us to come back - they loved having the family there so much! ... MoreAndrew, Jenn & their lovely children Chris & Analise were simply THE BEST! Jenn, Andrew and their two lovely children looked after our dog and home wonderfully while we had a two week holiday. They communicated well before and during the time we were away, sending us photos and updates regularly. We arrived back to find a happy and relaxed dog who clearly enjoyed playing with the children, and a home that was clean and tidy. Jenn had kindly laundered all the bed linen and towels by the time we had returned (even though we returned relatively early in the ... Andrew, Jenn and the children have been amazing. They looked after the house and animals so well. We came back to a clean house and happy and calm dogs who have obviously enjoyed lots of attention and affection in our absence. We felt very comfortable leaving the dogs and house in their care for a week and would definitely have them back to help us out in the future if they were ever free.
