Our home

I have rwo fur babies, both rescues. I have a sweet Chow mix and a silly, energetic Samoyed.
I have doggie doors so they can come and go with in the house and the screened in pool/patio area and backyard. However, they love to go for a daily walk.
I have potted plants and flowers that will need to be watered. You will also need to maintain/monitor the pool which I will show you.

I have a three bedroom two bath home with a family room, dining room, living room area with a screened in pool/patio and small fenced backyard. Your bedroom includes a queen size bed and is decorated with a beach theme. Your bathroom is also decorated with a beach theme. You will have your own full size private refrigerator and freezer in the laundry room to use where there is also a washer and dryer to use.

My home is located about 15 minutes from the beach and just a few minutes from Palma Sola Bay. The Robinson Preserve, Palma Sola Botanical Gardens, and the Hernando Desoto Memorial are all within a 5-10 minute drive. Grocery stores, retail shopping, and restaurants are all a 5-10 minute drive as well.

I am an educator/artist/writer with speciality in creating inclusive, supportive learning environments.

My dogs are like my children and I would prefer to have a virtual video call first to see if you are a good fit.
I will have additional house sitting opportunities posting soon and would love to connect with someone who may also be interested in returning to the Anna Maria island area for future house sitting opportunities. My fur babies love human companionship and I am looking for someone who also will love them.

Helene was so very nice to give David & I the opportunity to stay in her beautiful home, take care of her beloved dogs, Sammy, Wesley & Popo so that we could sightsee in the area. We enjoyed our sit for Helene's 3 dogs, Sammy, Wesley, and Papo. We were able to walk all 3 at the same time although Sammy gets a little excited. Helene stayed in good contact with us at all times. This is a great area to visit near lots of restaurants and beach and the pool was great. The dogs were very friendly and enjoyed playtime and walks
We had a wonderful house sit with Helene's fur boys. We found a great rhythm together and enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood and hanging out by the pool. They love being with people and are each so unique. It was a great experience and we hope to do this again.
My daughter and I loved house sit for Helene. Her house is very well situated, just a short drive to a gorgeous beach in Anna Maria Island! Her dogs are so adorables, We will miss swimming with Sammy in the pool! We will be happy to house/pet sit for Helen again!
Helene was wonderful! She had all pet details completely organized and offered very charming accommodation. I fell in love with three dogs and even got the youngest to join me on the dog-proof raft in the pool! It was great fun! The area where Helene lives is very convenient, as well as being within a few miles of Anna Maria Island and all it has to offer. A great area of Florida for nature-based activities! I'll sit for Helene and her babies anytime!
