Our home

We are headed abroad to visit family and looking for a pet and flock loving homestead sitter. We have two senior dogs, a rabbit, ducks and chickens, a small orchard and garden. The job will mostly be taking care of our dogs, rabbit and flock and harvesting eggs/ fruit/ veggies for you to enjoy so they don’t go to waste!

We have 2 senior dogs that eat 2 meals a day, like walks but are also happy roaming around the fenced in yard. Our bunny gets food every day and clean water. The chickens and ducks get let out through the electric fence in the morning and closed in at night, we monitor to see if they need more food in their dispenser and give them scratch grains

I am so fortunate to have been able to spend three weeks at Maddy and Wiktor's beautiful homestead in Vermont. I left knowing that I'll return again to enjoy the peaceful environment and spend time with Roo and Arrow, their gentle and loving dogs, as well as Unicorn the rabbit and the outdoor flock. Maddy and Wiktor gave me an extensive tour of their home and left detailed instructions, including how to use the espresso machine - which became a daily habit!
