I’ve delighted to have had 41 fantastic years of marriage before losing my beloved husband this spring, and remain a non-drinker & non-smoker. I have a broad range of experience with both animals and people so am exceptionally good at common sense if it comes to unusual circumstances. Having happily had various pets over the years (3 dogs, 2 cats, fish, a GCC conure and for 28 yrs. a south American Tree Boa) , I’ve cared for numerous others (birds, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, reptiles) without incident.
However, having lost our 20+ yr. old Green Cheeked Conure Parrot to old age, I’m strongly reminded how precious your "fur children" are to you. That's why I strive to provide an excellent "stay-cation" for them while you're away enjoying your travels. Keeping in touch by text is typically a staple so you know they're happy and safe.

References readily available upon request.... plus you'll find me very flexible in my travel schedule and availability. Peace of mind is worth a lot....and so is my word.

Teri is a delightful and very conscientious sitter. We are looking forward to having her back again. She took perfect care of our 2 cats and large dog. Our pets are used to having a lot of attention and Teri provided all that and more. She arrived the afternoon before we left and stayed the night we came home to make sure there was a smooth handoff. She read all the notes we sent her before the trip. Excellent communication and very trustworthy.

Teri and Gordon are amazing! My animals (2 dogs, one cat) were well cared for and my house is cleaner than when I left. They understood and were not bothered by the challenges of an older dog. I would love to use them again!
Gordon and Teri are the ideal house-sitters. They were absolutely wonderful with our two pets, always conscientious and affectionate. The house was as lovingly cared for as our pets. Personally, their positive and optimistic outlook are contagious. They kept us informed throughout our travels, giving detailed accounts of house and pets, relieving us of any and all worries. Quite simply, they are the best!

Teri and her husband Gordon were great! We have two very unique pups (potcakes with special personalities) and they handled them perfectly. They kept the veggies in the garden growing and the chickens got special treats. They are wonderful at communicating and left the house as we left it. We would definitely call them again for any housesitting, dog sitting or chicken sitting we needed. Thank you both!

We had a great experience with Teri and Gordon! They are very responsible and took great care of our dogs and home. And they are fascinating people if you have a chance to visit with them! We told them they were dog whisperers because our big boy Teddy was so gentle and relaxed with them. You'll be very pleased if you choose them to stay with your home and pets.

This was our first try with House Sitters. We've had very mixed experiences with local folks and were hoping Teri and Gordon were going to change our minds about having strangers in our house. Did they ever! Teri and Gordon are real pros at this house sitting thing and approach it like a profession. They come fully equipped and ready to play. I am pretty sure you can hand them the keys and walk away as soon as they arrive. Our home, pets and belongings were treated with great care. Our bird's ... Teri and Gorden did a great job at watching our cats and house! They are super friendly, cared for our home the way we asked and gave our cats extra special attention. They sent us lots of photos of our kitties when we asked for them! They did a praise worthy job. We would be glad to have them sit for us again.

Teri and Gordon came to us with no horse experience, but did a grand job. Gordon particularly did a great job with the yard and raked MANY bags of leaves. Our beloved dog Nigella became really attached and enjoyed her daily interactions in the yard. Teri tended our very old fish with care and attention, so all was well.
