I have been a cat mother for three cats and lost my handsome cat Charlie recently. I am untethered and am looking to care for others fur babies and their homes. I have had a myriad of jobs over the years with a number of them being a Nanny for a few families. Up until last fall (23) most of my pet and house-sitting experience has been for those families and their acquaintances. I am very respectful of their homes and their private spaces. I also made my footprint in their homes very small. A few of them asking me if I had actually stayed there.
I am a nonsmoker and do not drink.
I would like to do the majority of my sits in the most western states from the coast to Utah. I am loosely based in Sacramento California. You will find my reference letters below.
I'd love to be that person you entrust your pets and home to.

Good morning Linda, 


I have known Susan for over 20 years. We first met while working at a movie theater in Elk Grove, California. She started a month before me and about two months after I started we both were promoted to assistant manager together due to our great work ethics. Although our time together at the movie theater only lasted a couple years, we remained great friends ever since and her work ethic still stands strong. 

In the time I’ve known Susan, she has accepted many caretaking positions for homes, pets and children. Most often the people she would sit for were friends and family or people that she was referred to by friends and family. On several occasions, Susan has house and pet sat for me while I was away. I only trust a few people to care for my animals and Susan is definitely one I have always trusted. 

When Susan house and pet sits for me, she leaves the house as she found it or often better than she found it. I know that she will communicate with me if needed and will respond to me promptly if I reach out to her. When pet sitting for me, Susan does an exceptional job. She has sat up to three animals (2 dogs, 1 cat) for me. Tasks have included feeding, cleaning a litter box, administering medicine to the pets (orally) and providing love and attention. When house sitting for me, Susan has tended to plants, brought in mail and packages, put out/brought in trash cans on trash day, and put out payment for the gardener. If something were to happen to my pets or property, I know Susan would let me know right away and would do what she can on her end as we resolve the situation together. 

I highly recommend Susan for any home or pet caregiving position that she may apply for.

Susan is a wonderful pet sitter who sat for my 2 older cats in our home 6/12-9/13. Susan accepted my sit request 6 months out & checked in with me often to ensure that plans hadn’t changed. Great communicator! She sent pics & videos of my cats often and I knew they were in great hands, making me less anxious about being gone. The ultimate cat whisperer! Susan was an extraordinary sitter. She did a wonderful job taking care of Barney and Zoë. Both needed medications as she was great at taking care of the meds. When I returned home, the house was spotless. She managed the plants both inside and outside. She took the dogs for walks and gave them lots of love. If you are lucky enough to have her take care of your pets and house, you will be very happy with the experience.

Susan has been great. We love having her watch our home and chickens. She is a great communicator, she follows advice, and we feel very comfortable with her at our home. We have extended her stay with us into the late spring when we get back again. I highly recommend Susan to anyone who needs an excellent housesitter!
